wasnt exactly planning to take a photo that day. was just walking around with my friends when i saw this ferris wheel. though it was beautiful so i took it down. its abit shaky though. i used paint pro to edit the photo. mostly to blur the surrounding and make the focuz on the ferris. just want to get comments on whether the blurring is too much or too little? and whether the focus is too much or too little. and also overall as a picture. thanks for the comments. =)

I love it! (from an abstract / atmospheric point of view) although the positioning in centre in this case, made the picture looked like something was missing. The picture is too small to notice the blurring details but it seems passable, use 'feather' to simulate the effect of lens babies.

Focus? I thought the precise point was to capture this without focus, and it worked for me! Or maybe that wasn't what you meant to do but take a look at this for comparison.

thanks! haha. i think i say it in the wrong way. i just want to edit the ferris so that it looks brighter and at the same time blur the rest. yup. i was just using my phone camera. maybe using a conventional camera will work better. btw, what do you mean by use the 'feather'? im quite a noob in photography still. haha. anw, thanks alot for your comments. :D

Wonderful and Interesting!

This just shows you how great it is to be able to use a device like a mobile phone to capture something like this which is a great abstract and interesting perspective of a ferris wheel being hit by the sun from above - it is surprisingly interesting because it not contrived at all.

Mobile Art!
