It takes a brave person to post photos that aren't in focus.

atleast he's a person and you are not... you are an a** :thumbsd:

"respect" is the word buddy...

woooh... you are one damn ill-mannered guy...

you are the type of person why those newbies in photography dont dare to post photos seeking not only for compliments but comments and critiques on how to push more on capturing great photos...

if only good manners can buy at any shops... i would love to buy one for you...:thumbsd:

Pardon me but, is there a photo that's not in focus??

Personally, some of the photos are great, capturing the expression of the contestants....

nice photos!
my favorite photos are the 5th, 4th and 3rd one.

I believe that cervello statement referring to bicycling scenes which less sharp than the rest of the photos.

I'm only amateur in photography. My best guess is that the photos are less sharp either because there was not enough speed to freeze the action or the focus tracking was not used so that the focus fall behind the main object.

Yes, thank you.

Solution: figure out the AFS or AI Servo modes on your respective camera; try it out with the most mundane things to get ready on the big day, not experiment on the day itself.

I'm sure you'll improve if you read the manual from start to end. That's how I worked out my own mistakes too.

dear all, thanx for all your comments!! On hindsight, it is true that some of the photo sharpness can be improved. Guess like wat cervello mentioned, i have to go back & read my camera manual, then go out there and practise practise practise!!! :D

leyo04: actually, i'm a 'she'. Hehe.... :)

That's the spirit!
