Again, i can see the power of 14mm....

Wah.. I just got killed.. Drop dead gorgeous *drool*

Man.. I LOVE THE WIDE ANGLE !!!!!

Great series.   Fave is #5. ;)

most of the shots are good. However, i dont think such a wide angle lens helps the picture. I think it's too wide for these shots. One or two such shots for wedding is ok.. but i doubt as a series it will work.

Hi DP.. thanks...

well.. u will b surprised.. alot of times for bridal images, their fav images are something like this or images that cant really see much of their faces.. its kind of old school for bridal images to jus focus on the bride..

but of cos having said that.. in a compilation of album, there is always a mixture of pictures form close ups to wide stuffs...

I agree with Will. It will definitely not work if a whole series is made up of just these types of shots. It becomes a fashion album. In a bridal album, it is nice to have some of these shots. The bride also wants to look like a model also. Another thing is that the use of the wide angle in these shots brought out the grandeur of this gown. The grandeur will bring out the "status" of the bride. Good job Will:thumbsup:

By the way, never tried a 14mm before, how much hah?

hi thanks..

as mentioned... if it is a real weding album... we definitely need a mixture of shots.. from close ups to wide... definitely not all wide stuffs in a series..

actually i do have some shots taken wif 85 mm in this series.. but did not post it..

and i m sure u guys know that this is not a real bride..

whther the pics are too wide or not.. well.. i think its a matter of preferences... :)

thanks... yup... a WA definitely helps to showcase the gown.. and wif a nice gown n nice environment.. a WA defintiely help.. ;)

the 14 mm should be about 3k+ from cathay.. cant really remember the exact price...

william has many excellent and jaw dropping wide angle portraits of many different brides and many other brides will book him to be shooting such a style. as he has mentioned, it's not uncommon for brides to go gaga over such images, as with non-brides here in the forum.

good job bro! :)

mmmh exposure is nice, strong colours good contrast.... but i just dont like the use of the ultra wide on this one... her head is becoming way too small for my taste...
sorry i dont share the enthusiasm of the rest...

i think u are great. if i was getting married and were to see a portfolio like that id hire u imm. i dun even need to think twice. i wun even wan to look at other photographers. great job bro.

really impressive.
excellent mastery of lighting and the environment too .. esp #3

just wondering how did you lit up the object [bride :D ] as the grass near her gown is somehow lit up ? dun tell me u stuck a speedlite under her gown

Hi William;
All the 6 photo is super. The great presentation of the 1/3 rule.
The flare come in the right position. Just at the bottom center and within the 1/3 again.
Applying 2 X 1/3 rule is a very special skill.
