Hi all,

I using AA rechargeables (Sanyo) for my trusty camera (olympus C5050). The batteries are getting old now, so looking for new rechargeable batteries.

Thinking of getting another brand of rechargeables. Any recommendations and where to get it?

thanks!
:)

Sanyo's Eneloop 2000mAh  , has lasting charge.
Can get it from most shop, e.g. Alan Photo etc.

PowerEx 2700mAH fr eastgear

Got 2 sets of it!

Sayno Eneloop, best... otherwise Konnoc for me... no other rechargeable AA batt can beat its price... :sweatsm:

GO with these...

I got 3 sets of 2700, 1 set 2200, 1 set 2000
I second that! PowerEX 2700  get Maha charger  with conditioning and discharging feature

how often do u shoot? that's prob going to give u the answer...

sanyo enelopes last longer coz of their ability to hold charge well... powerex has more power, but if u don't use it often it'll lose it's charge...

so if u're the kind who won't use it for a long time and don't want to keep having to remember to charge ur batts.. i'd suggest the sanyos...

personally, i use the powerex but i use it for my flash so the extra power comes in handy...

thanks for the many replies.

I am a fairly frequent shooter.. :bsmilie: (hmm, sounds funny) anyway, i bring my point and shoot around and I also use the batteries for my C5050z..

Also going for my dive trip soon, expecting to take looks of pictures and also i will be using it for my underwater strobe . .

cheers

Thanks for the note.

How much do the Powerex 2700 and the maha charger costs?

:)

Check it out at Eastgear. I believe they have some package deal if you get the charger.

Did Eastgear moved to a new location already? I saw a thread about Eastgear moving their shop location. Need some rechargeable batteries and charger too, hope South Asia has stock of the Powerex batt and charger
