For all you know, the SC will be able to strike a deal with the AG office and this case will be over with just a 5 mins court apperance by Christopher.
was he ever featured in the Festive season promotion, "do not drink if u drive"...?
if yes, siao liao lor....how credible are these public figures who sent out the messages..telling pple dun drive, but they themselves drive..and drink.
can change the ad what.
can change to something like this:
a poster of him behind bar with title "if u drink and drive, u will be like me. No matter who you are. " :bsmilie:
why complain why whine.. the world is unfair that is a fact. When you are in the same shoes as Christopher, you will wish you had the status to allow you to get away with it. I seriously dont think anyone will truthfully say "despite my status and my ability to get away, I want to volunteer to be jailed"
So work hard and be special and you can then live life more easily...

This case is nothing compared to a high profile case involving a ring of high profile locals and expats who were taking cocaine about 2 years ago. We all know what the elite have their exclusive parties but apparently someone in CNB didnt find out exactly whose house they were raiding. So after raid bing bang boom.... found out that all are elites and one of them is the son of a judge!!
What happened? They measured the cocaine and took out all "impurities" to deem it not sufficent in amount to be considered for the death penalty. Even granted bail to one of the expats to leave Spore for "medical treatment" needless to say he didnt come back.
Compared to that case, Christopher Lee's case is nothing...........
No one is above the law. He should be punished accordingly.
Years ago an MP, I believe it was Barker, was caught for DWI(driving while intoxicated), I will not mention names, he was fined and suspended accordingly.
Anyways, the matter has already been publicised, would be kind of hard for him to get off that easy. If that were to happen the press will have a field day and so will the public. I know I will take issue if he gets off with a slap on the wrists.
y do i get more and more disdained and dis-illusioned with the local judiciary?
maybe he go inside can do research for new drama series!! Ch8 prison break!!! :bsmilie: :bsmilie:
It is the same everywhere..... just how obvious it is.... trust me when u have the means.. you will really appreciate being able to get away with almost anything... of course dont overdo it with murder and rape etc....
It is like in school, your teacher likes you... so you make a mistake, teacher tells you "okay next time dont do it again" your teacher hates your guts... you make a mistake or you just happened to be standing next to the fight, you get the heaviest punishment....
Nothing new and nothing to do with the judical system. It is called some are more equal than others.
