Hello, i would like some help from you guys.
firstly i would like to rent a lens to do a photo shoot for my friend, it will be outdoor.
There will be 1 dancer, 1 yangqing player, 1 gymnastic guy, 1 hurdler, 1 student leader.
it will be my first time shooting human portraiture.

what equipment would you recommend?
I've only 350D+kit.

Please advice. :(

a flash and a good L lens... probably 24-70 or around that focal length.

Thanks so much
Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Lens ?
this lens will do ? :)

Canon EF 50mm F1.8 Lens

Canon EF 85mm F1.8 Lens

how abt this 2 lenses?

Is this shoot more about portrait or event style?

Since the above 2 lens are prime lens, you'll have to zoom with your feet.

85mm has nicer bokeh, but difficult to cover whole body.

I'd stick with the 24-70 if you have enough space to move around :) The 50/1.8 has pretty wierd bokeh esp if you have small dots of highlights (tends to turn pentagonal) I'd try the 35/2 together with the 85/1.8 if you dont like the 24-70. It really depends on your style.
