Decent shot with a nice control of flash to fill in the backlight. Compositionally, do take note of the excessive amount of headroom. So perhaps a little more of her elbows resting on the table would be good. Also do take note of the window frame cutting across the back of her head. Overall this is a good attepmt. Do keep practising and posting. Cheers.

Nice picture of the little girl :)

However, also agree with the others. Try cropping excess space on the right and the distracting pillar/curtain on the leftfor a tighter shot. A little off the top would not hurt as well.

More elbow would have been optimal...

Nonetheless, nice Sepia toned picture.

Do let us see your final post-processing result :)

By the way, did you use a flash or a reflector for the fill-in?

Looks like natural light from the window was reflected back onto the subject. Better choice, I think....or am I wrong

Dear Bernard,
Nop i didnt use flash. Subject was side/backlighted, so i turned on the ceiling light. f2.8, 1/25, ISO100
thx all for the comments.
cheers

Nice sepia tone. I would crop off the left dark frame and remove excess space on the right. Still, its a pretty decent pic.
