Lugging along my 810 Tachihara, Fujinon 300mm f5.6 lens to expose some darkroom papers as negatives. With the ISO of 3. The exposure is awfully long. Range from 1/4s to 8mins.

The papers were later process in darkroom as negative papers and once it is dry. It is direct contact print on a similar paper to become positive images and develop as normal.
Final product were scan just to put online to share. Preparing paper negatives can be very tricky at times. Just look at this print, lot of my finger prints and marks. Got be be a lot more careful when loading papers into film holders.

bro, you might need to trim away about 3mm from the longer side in order to slot into the holder nicely.

I already trim both side. Maybe need to trim a little at the side at an angle so that it will be easier to push into the holder... Will try the next batch...

Macritichie Reservoir. The boardwalk allows the public to walk along the rim of the reservoir safely and at the same time protects the terrain from any further damage.

Hi Kee Choon,

Can u share the timing and temperature/agitation u used for the developer? Did u also reuse the developer with no visible degraded effect on the film?

Yo lualua,

I'm still experimenting with this developer and this is the first time I develop Shanghai 100 in this.

Temp: 21-22 degrees
Time: 5 mins in both baths
Agitation: 5 twists of agitator (Paterson tank) initial for bath A, once every 30 sec after. Hard Tap after pouring in bath B, 1 twist every min.
Water stop: 1 min with constant twisting of agitator.
Fix & wash.

The initial few sheets which was done at 4 mins seemed a little under-developed hence I increase timing to 5 mins. I find that agitation affects a lot on the outcome of the development more than timing. When I started using this developer with Double-X film, my first few rolls are way over-developed due to agitation. Cutting down time did not help and only when I tried agitating the tank much lesser and only then I get the desired results. For each different film, there is a need to experiment like any other developer.

BTTB was rated for 15 rolls max per litre of both baths. Bath A can last more than 15 but Bath B will exhaust after reaching capacity. I did at least 10 rolls on my previous litre of the developer before mixing a new litre. Changed the chemicals ratio a little so Bath A contains 80g sodium sulphite lesser than the recommended 85g for more acutance.
