i prefer your first post. it's like Nikon is attracting everyone to it! have you tried zooming in faster/slower with same shutter speed?

6-10 seconds exposure; using my 55-200mm lens and slowly zoom towards the subject.

Its my first few tries, but I didnt experiment more; too sleepy already. And I was supposed to finish up my work in the first place!
