Zoo - Best time to visit

Bring my guest to the zoo for sight seeing and some shot, what is the best timing in the day to visit? Thank you.

went in morning once. a bit too early it seems.... zookeeper told me to wait. follow them when they go feed animals. so they're more active then.

For me, if it's sightseeing, go for the shows and feeding but if it's for photo-taking, it's early morning for me...the light then will be very conducive, i.e. not as harsh as the noon/afternoon sun...
