I was at the camera shop in Kyoto this afternoon and saw the mock up K-M Olive. From what I see on the Japanese info, maybe 1,000 sets are produced and I think release April 2009.

The Olive color looks & feel plastic.

The mock up came with a kit lens and also in Olive color. From a distance, you may mistaken it is design for the military. Haha.

Very realistically, if I have to choose a few more items to buy from the current Pentax lineup, it would be:

But what I would really like to see Pentax come up with are these, if Pentax ever asks what they should put in the roadmap next, maybe you can help feedback:
a Pentax DA*11-16 f/2.8 SDM, modeled after the Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX
a 1.4x or 1.7x teleconvertor with AF and/or SDM

For pricing, I also think that if we can match the prices in brick and mortar shops in other countries, that would already be good enough. For example, the K20D body is going for US$900 (before tax, no special discounts/promotions) in the shops in US, but the asking price here is still around S$1800.

Then it's even more expensive than the current local price. I am looking at the standard prices from Cathayphoto and I believe it's about 780 SGD and I already cannot bring myself to spend the money (for a local warranty set).
