Probably my most used wide angle lens. Possibly my most used lens overall.

?? never new sigma had such a lens. Is it lighter than the 70-200f2.8? got AF? where you bought it from?

Ermm...on the contrary from what I experienced. AF is rather slow (and noisy) compared to the Canon 24-70mm f2.8L. But its a good solid lens with decent image quality (esp stopped down).

Garion Canon 24-70mm f2.8L is a USM. Tokina is a non USM. On my Minolta Dynax 5D it is pretty fast accurate for a non USM.

Oh ok...I was speaking from personal experience from using both lens before. The Tokina is slightly slower but still acceptable I guess. Thanks for clarifying.
