As another year winds down to a close, I thought that it would be a good idea for us to celebrate our personal best of 2012. Hopefully, this can help to consolidate what we have done (individually) and inspire us (individually and as a community) to shoot more in 2013!!

So pls share your best / favourite 3 RF shots of 2012... pls only share your own images...

No need to vote, but feel free to share, view, appreciate, and "like"...

Admittedly, I didn't shoot too much with my RF cameras in 2012, as I was experimenting quite a bit with some of the new mirrorless systems. But here are a couple of my favourite images from 2012... I just love the shooting experience with my M7 and Natura (I think I'll have to order some more from Japan)!!

| Thaipusam | M7 | 35Lux | Natura1600 |

Wondering if ppl here would be interested in a separate thread on RF acquisitions in 2012?

edit > Pls also see http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/rangefinders/1029815-[rf-photos]-pictures-month-gallery-2012-a.html for some of the best RF shots month-by-month through 2012.

Hi

I must admit to lurking more than active posting nowadays but I was looking through my work from 2012 when I stumbled upon this thread...so here goes...... some of my favorites with my M9 + 35mm Summarit f2.5 from Tokyo (also from my first solo exhibition Tokyo Dreaming still running now) which I acquired in September of 2012 after foolishly selling my M6 in 2007 after 6 years of rangefinder shooting......

* Perspective *

Take a step back to gain some perspective. More than often it never hurts and shall do us some good.

* Your wounds *

From every wound there is a scar, and every scar tells a story...a story that says, “I learnt and I survived.”
There are moments when troubles enter your life and you can do nothing to avoid them, but they are there for a reason. Only when you have overcome them will you understand why they were there.
So be brave and press forward. You will not see the light at the end of the tunnel until you walk through the hallway of darkness...

* Never perfect *

Its not about perfect but more often the effort...and when you bring that effort every single day, that's where transformation happens...that's how changes happen...
I hope in time to come, these people will have a better life, a better environment to stay in...

Here's mine :)
