1. in what area is critique to be sought?
please comment if the post processing looks ok.
is the composition pleasing to the eyes?

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
Trying to show that we can achieve good pictures by taking more pictures.

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken? (physical conditions/emotions)
In my room and was reading the photography magazine. trying out a new perspective.

4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
interesing composition in my own opinion.

what is the subject? the magazine or the lens? i think the magazine being out of focus doesnt do much justice to the title. just my two cents worth. although i'll have to agree the composition showing a quarter slice of the lens is somewhat interesting :D
 

yah, it's neither here or there. imho, show more of the lens then it'll become a nice shot for canon :bsmilie::bsmilie:

Think the title should be 'Canon 50mm 1.8'.

hmm, cause i also cant decide the composition, i wanted the magazine words, and also the lens. but i dun want the magazine to be sharp. =S

while i think that the picture is interesting, i think if you stop down by half a stop then the mag will still be o.o.f but shows the word better.
