Started [Yilin] Newbie APAW 2011 last year and towards the end there is hardly any comment and I was somehow stuck and not seeing much improvement in my photo taken.
To start or not to start this thread was the question that was on my mind since January and Yes finally decided to start this little commitment - Since there might still be chances of getting some comments from the fellow CSers .

Time has been passing by too quickly for me lately. Caught up with both work and hobby-photography. Primary objective for me to create this APAW 2012 to share some of my shots taken with photog enthusiasts and it will be bonus to me if you can comment and share with me your idea or suggestion on how to improve that shots.

01 January 2012 – First Sunrise in 2012 taken on an domestic flight ( Yangon to Bagan)​

This is my first time shooting with a DSLR on board a plane.
Nothing special about this shot but is really an amazing sight of the sun rising from the horizon – viewing it from a different perspective.

Enjoyed a week long of photography in Myanmar =) with a mixed group of experienced and beginners photographers
I have not completed processing all my shots but do feel free to check out my flickr

Back to my regular landscape shoot in Singapore I have received numerous comment that there is no nice landscape to shoot in this little red dot but this is where I get to shoot and hone my photography skill . I enjoyed the quiet moment and serenity while taking sunrise shots.

Tough luck this week....Very gloomy sunrise where could not see the nice sunrise color or yolk. Make do with this symmetry shot taken at Kranji Reservoir .​

Took this shot at East Coast. Somehow the wave timing is something new to me as in I so not need to consider that when shooting at reservoir.
But somehow am stuck with composition of these rocks. Same bored style...
If you have any nice idea please let me know ... much appreciated

Reflections at Keppel Bay
For a change - Shoot Urban instead of Rocks and Sand.
Architectural shoot does not interest me as much as nature landscape shoot but on days when the
weather is bad ..there is no harm learning and shooting it.​

Mt Kinabalu - 4000m Point​

Almost gave up going to Kinabalu summit @ this 4000m Point ( Still got last steep 95m to go) Stayed at this point for quite sometime to take some shots. Was a freezing cold lonely journey struggling from 3272m @ 2.30am to 4000m @ 624am . Took a shot of this couple that has completed the ascend and making their way down to Laban Rata ( 3272m)

Finally ! To the summit @ 4095m​

Was a trip that i never thought possible for me due to health condition and prior zero training preparation.
Slipped and fall numerous times up and down the Mt. It is definitely a mind over physical type of challenge. Glad that i made it thou is 10 years long overdue.
Thanks to a supportive photog buddy who provided me great mental support for this trip ! Cheers..
And also my 5 kakis that went up to this Mt together...

Back to this Kranji beach after a few mths break , was quite surprise that this beach has somehow become populated with campers .
There are quite a number of activities going on during low tide morning .

Yet another lousy sunrise but I enjoyed the process - the dark , the quietness and finally the light ..thats silly me ;p

Finally finished backlogging my APAW ..Will update weekly from today !!
