The fasting month of Ramadan is an opportunity for me to cook up something - and mess up the kitchen...
Here's a few samples, all done with 50mm

All these food are exceptionally tasty by the look itself, and I think the laksa is way too spicy for me. Might need a teh-o ice kosong to go along.

perhaps you should give some shooting pointers to that guy casey4355 who seems to have a liking to food photography but got stuck in his/her works.

I think why this series worked is because TS kept to the K.I.S.S. principle.

there should be a rule in the forum stating that pictures of food must be followed up with an authentication session by forum members. how would we know if the food was done in photoshop unless we can taste it.

For a first timer that I cooked it up myself, of course except for the dishes @ the hawker center - it tastes just as good as how mom would have done it. Its a burping success!

Casey4355 - I thought he did okay for his shots? If there's any difference with mine, I may not have noticed it.

Keep It Simple Silly? Hehe... done with 50mm lens f1.8, dining table lightsource; its quite a rushed take most of the time, cos i gotto eat it before it turns cold!

I never touched this stuff for 4 years already... after my HDL shot up to 495. Now it's back done to moderate 250+ still a bit high. I used to eat 2kilos in one seating, just cockles and chilli garlic, makes me drool but as MC Hammer says "can't touch this!"
