Just quick question from a noobie. How do i make this type of shot? like the character image is sharp and the background is blurry? I am very new. a newbie's newbie...

read up on panning shots,
it is where u use a slightly slow shutter speed (eg 1/50 sec) and follow ur subject while it is moving...
