Yahoo Mail has up its storage capacity again from 100MB to 250MB; don't know since when. I noticed this at the 'signing for new account column' when I looked at the sign-in page today. Mine storage is already 1GB so I don't know if other existing users get their capacity increased to 250MB. This is the second time they increse their storage space in face of competition from Gmail (1GB) and Hotmail (250MB). Sadly, the promise of a 250MB box by Hotmail has not materialised. Lip service, perhaps.

hey... now that you mentioned it... I just checked and my account's storage have been upped. totally transparent upgrading, never noticed it at all unlike the initial 100mb upgrade where I encountered system hiccups.

Well, Microsoft does have their bad rep and somehow I'm not surprised if Hotmail accounts are still not upgraded.

Well, GMail is still 1000MB! :bsmilie:

Despite the 1000MB by Gmail, I still prefer Yahoo for being fast and user-friendly. My Yahoo is 1000MB too! :)

Oh yeah....mine is also 1GB !!! :bsmilie:

Special thanks to someone who shared the lobang here in CS. ;)

hmm...just wonder. Do you really need 1GB of mail space?

My yahoo is 100MB or 250MB now, and that's good enough for me. I believe I will dump the account soon if I got too much spam there. I have a gmail account too, but will only use that after I dump my yahoo (SPAM).

Yeah, got much problems with spam in my other yahoo accounts, I used to just leave it till it was full and the spam just got returned to the senders automatically. Doing that for a few weeks, the mail would be free of spam....now with the bigger space it takes much longer to get it full :-( so it won't work this way anymore.
