XZ-1 Zoom & Focus malfunction

The XZ-1 was bought in 2012. The Zoom does not fully extend and the AF is..well..
I think the mechanism have seen better days. Should I send it in for repairs or just junk it.:think:

depends how much the repairs cost. i would be inclined to junk it and get a newer camera.

Got 3rd party repairer? Oly M'sia say discontinued so no more parts.

U can try sending a pm to fatigue here, he does camera repairs and very trusted. Issue I feel is the availability of spare parts.
