Solid METAL construction all around. Black matte anodized in color. Glass lens! Not cheapo plastic. MADE IN JAPAN. Comes with leather pouch with draw strings for storage. No moving parts, just screw it into the existing filter thread to convert your standard lens into a macro or wide angle lens.
Polarizing filter has a outer ring which rotates independently to cut through glare such as water reflection to instantly improve contrast and color rendition. Perfect for shooting through water bodies such as lakes and the sea. In dull weather, it removes the 'grey' overcast to bring out the greens in foliage.
