Detailed Description:
Really one of the best 35mm lenses I've used and super compact for the price. The rendering wide open is amazing and very similar to the Leica 35mm summicron 8 element in terms of image quality. The lens is beautiful in black paint and the multi coating is gorgeous. Even allows you to focus to 0.5m!
Reason for selling: Still more used to 50mm focal length.
Conditon is like new. Always stored in dry cabinet when not in use.

The Light Lens Lab 35mm f/2 Collapsible 8-Element Lens is a prime lens featuring a classic double-gauss design with a lens barrel made fully of brass. The lens is in the Leica Thread Mount and includes an M-Mount Adatpet. Precisely assembled and adjusted by Light Lens Lab technicians, this lens delivers performance very close to the famous first version of the 35mm f/2 lens, the so-called "8-element". The lens has an effective meacular linkage focus distance range of 0.7 meters to infinity, and will focus as close as approximately 0.5 meters.
