Selling a good condition Leica LTM Summitar 50mm f/2 with original filter set of skylight, yellow and orange filters for the lens. Serial number is 723814 which indicates that the lens is produced in 1949, a 66-year old lens. This is the sought-after 10-blade Summitar. Blades are oil-free. Aperture and focusing tabs are smooth-operating.
Lens optics is very clean for a lens of this age. This is a few bubbles in the rear element, but these do not affect the image quality. Front and rear elements are scratch-free, haze-free and fungus-free. Few dust particles are present in the middle element, but again doesn't not affect IQ. Inner edge of the front element has some micro-bubbles which do not affect IQ.
Body of the lens is clean for a 66-year old lens. See pictures below for yourself. Lens will come with original front cap and also a set of original Walz filters for the Summitar. The filters are Skylight, Yellow and Orange. Conditions for the filters will be around 8/10 because of some scratches and marks.
