The G1 is the first Micro four thirds body to start selling in the market, and one of the most popular. It is small and compact enough to carry around without the weight of a DSLR, yet it is still built with parts such as the handgrip to give a better feel during actual usage. The electronic viewfinder, in particular, is impressively bring and easy to use for manual focusing (to see the contrast and know that the shot is in focus), in this aspect, panasonic M4/3 bodies beat the olympus ones. Compared to the newer models that appear after the G1, such as GH1, GF1 etc, the G1 is only mainly lacking in having the video mode, but hey.. if you need good quailty video in your still camera, get a canon 5D2 or 7D anytime..
The set comes with original charger and battery. No box. Firmware already flashed to the latest version.
