I am selling this camera because it is under-use. The P5100 was intended to be an alternative to my DSLR, but I ended up using the DSLR most of the time. I would score my P5100 to be 9.5/10 as it is in my dry cabinet most of the time.
P5100 is a 12-Megapix compact camera packed with a lot of features such as
- hardware-based face-detection (so that more faces can be identified)
- D-lighting (digital lighting correction-a great build-in photo enhancement-save you the effort of photo editing on the PC)
- continuous flash shooting mode (3 consecutive frames at ~1fps)
- 1:1 aspect ratio shooting mode
- Can add black borders to images
- Flash Hot Shoe is available on this camera to allow you the put on a iTTL flash (great for indoor shots)
- BSS (Best Shot Selector)
- Approx. 52 MB of internal memory
- Lens shift VR (Vibration Reduction)
This P5100 compact comes with all the original accessories in the box (charger, battery, strap and len cover). A full charge battery pack can last a couple of hundred shots (and it performs as claimed-as long as you don't use the flash, which applies for all compact - except that this P5100 has a iTTL hotshoe for you to use an external flash).
As this is bought in Japan (camera menu is in English), it is as good as no warranty for this camera. I would be glad to meet up and let you try the camera if you are interested.
