for my camera, it was $1700 body alone locally while it was $1450 with a 18-55 + 75-300 lens including shipping.

in the example of Canon HF100...its about $800 online, guess how much locally?

if you intend to extend the warranty or buying easily spoilt items then i recommend getting locally.

Buy olympus. Global warranty. No such thing as grey set.
