30 CCs to air World Cup matches

All 30 CCs will screen the 4.00am opening match simultaneously, said PA in a statement. There will be 64 matches available for screening during the month-long season of the World Cup.

"Football matches are best enjoyed with our friends and neighbours. With such a positive response from the last World Cup screening, we are excited to partner SingTel and Singapore Pools to again bring the 2014 World Cup into the heartlands. We hope this will inspire new friendships within the community and a new passion for the sport," said Mr Ang Hak Seng, BBM, Chief Executive Director of PA.

First Game.
12 JUN 2014 - 4am
GROUP A
Arena de Sao Paulo
Sao Paulo
Brazil vs CROATIA

Brazil should win but think is only by a goal? Cos traditionally slow starter.

Waking up at 4am to watch the games will be tough. Then after the game at 5.30am, return to rest for 2 hrs before rising again to go to work. Perhaps watch selected matches only.

What are your predictions for the 4 countries into semi-finals for this comming World Cup 2014? My take is on Germany, Italy, Brazil and Spain.

Your list is machaim exactly the same as every other sports news website.

How about the useless England?
You already said useless liao. They'll get the butts kicked by Italy back across the Atlantic Ocean.

Maybe they can beat Costa Rica in Group D.

My dear wife
The Fifa World Cup is close by.
Let me give u a few rules that will
preserve yo beauty.

1. The remote control belongs to
me for the whole month.
2. Tell all yo friends not to gv
birth or wed or die or wateva
during the World Cup coz we
won't go.
3. You support the teams that i
support.
4. No talking during the game,
wait for half-time or end of the
game.
5. Repeats & highlights are as
good as the main match, so am
gonna watch them..
6. We can watch other program
provided actors and actresses Are
wearing soccer jerseys and they are in
brazil.
7. U dont just pass infront of the
tv if am watching soccer, u better
crawl on the floor.
8. Make sure you don't ask silly questions such as; is this Chelsea versus England?
9. No funny faces to my friends
when they come for soccer.
10. Smile everytime EXCEPT when
my team is losing
11.There shall be no comments about Cristiano Ronaldo's looks. Professinalism shall remain an absolute part of the WC.
12.If you miss the line up please dont ask, 'who is that guy?'
13. Ronaldo the Brazilian and Ronaldo the Portuguese are not related, Tanzania and Kenya did not qualify.

Thank you,
GENTLEMAN'S ASSOCIATION.

Brazil don't seem to like the World Cup leh... protest non stop.

Tthey like world cup very much however their's politicians gave them big worry after they have declared they overspent the construction of the facilities but real truth the money is stolen :)
A large part of the Funds missing and construction incomplete and shortatges, many unaccounted

That's just part of it, a ripple in the big picture. Many Brazilians are actually taking opportunity of the international spotlight to protest against the federal government for more economic / social reforms, human rights etc. etc. [01] [02].
