this one is to the US for 4months, of which 9weeks is work as a camp counsellor

there are also other schemes

NZ - 6months

http://www.immigration.govt.nz/Work/SINGAP...E+PROGRAMME.htm

UK - 2years

http://www.vfs.com.sg/forms/Whms.pdf

looking at the US option for now, the shortest plus a job confirmed if accepted

still, must pay for plane tix & others

decisions, decisions...

anyone dealt with STA travel b4?

STA travel is quite established, have many many branches all over the world. I don't think that they are the providers of this type of package (they act as an agent) but I heard about this type of 'working holidays' quite sometime ago, so I guess it should be quite established too.

So it shouldn't be too dodgy... :D

if i'm not wrong, only for 30 years old & below?

there are different requirements for different schemes, should be in the links in the first post

anyway thanx for the replies

Think buay pai leh, my friend from hostel (in NTU) applied with his gf and both got it.

They calculated that with the allowance that the camp gives them, if they save wisely should be enough to cover their travelling expenses after the work period.

So like what he said, you pay the processing fee and stuff, it's like taking a few months holiday for that price. Not bad!
