a soft answer turns away wrath
but a harsh word stirs up anger (Today 15 May, quote from proverbs 15)

And another point: when dealing with Chinese, remember not to smile... must act very serious.

That would be a double piss off if you suggest this to your Northern neighbour...
Tiger alone is an offence if labelled 'beer' ..:bsmilie:
hahaha.

that means if you are at TrulyAsia, you must replace Tiger with Heniken. :bsmilie:

Why? I thought wise men should be wise enough to avoid any forth coming crisis?
Exactly, my friend.
Because these are words from whom you pay a few millions per year, the so-called talents.
It is a damage control approach. Not a preventive approach.
If the crisis did not happen, they would not hv to say sorry.
And when the crisis already happened, they told you it is unavoidable.
And to make you less angry, they told you they will do better next time. A very tactful way of admitting mistakes. LOLLL

But hv to admit that it is quite effective though, at least in avoiding some "mega facepalms". LOLLL

Angelina Jolie: "What? You asked me to remove my breasts and it wasnt necessary???!!!"

Surgeon: "1. sorry, sorry, sorry.

2. what should not hv happened, has happened.

3. we will do better next time."

I must say any ah bengs and ah sengs on the street also know how to use them.

if only life was so easy...
It's not easy, but it's not impossible.

Take King Solomon's for example. So many wives, so many in-laws under one roof, still his kingdom enjoys decades of peace. I dare you try that and survive for 1 hour....

heh, I don't remember Solomon having to stay with in-laws, wives yes.
But back then there was no such thing as women's rights and having a harem of women who all wanted to sleep with you wasn't exactly a hard life.
