hi,
anyone know where to get a reasonably priced (cheap) wireless IR trigger for studio strobes with light sensitive sensors ? looking for one that can be mounted on my D70 flash hotshoe. CP selling one for abt $150 but am sure there are some fairly cheap ones around. don't need anything fancy. appreciate any info. thanks !

..try Ruby, I think it is about $88... just got one recently... :)

thanks ! is that from electra ? heard can get cheaper brand but don't know where.

Have been using the one from CP...got two of them.
It cost more but it's more reliable too...so far it triggers all my shots without fail.
Tried the Electra ones...but failed to trigger couple of times during a shoot.
Best to bring along the cam and try out at the shop.
It actually failed to trigger few times at the shop..but then was desperate to have one.
Also if not too particular about the flash trigger..a Hanica mini flash tilted 90 degrees downwards work just fine...cheap too.
It can be bought at Ruby.
Happy shooting
