What special precaution should we take for our SLRs when we go for our holidays during winter time?

Any thing that needs to be done when we return from the cold climate to hot SG?

First of all, make sure you are appropriately clothed; if you kena a cold and fall sick, how to take photographs?

I've heard people keeping their camera undercover and only take them out when they need to take photos as ordinary batteries drain damn fast in low temperatures and besides, if you stuck it to your face for too long (especially in winters) it may just stay there...
