what is shotgun mic exactly for ? ( i have one at home which cost $99 ) =.= , no brand de.

i record shotgun mic there is always background sound loud! cant really hear the conversation. anybody have recommend setting for sound for video?

Usually the onboard wind cutter's effect is minimum. Frm my experience, get a dead cat and adjust your input frequency accordingly. For best result wif ur current gear, place ur mic near ur subject as close as possible and lower ur input. Rememer to record some ambience noise, this is useful if u r going to remove noise in post production.
