Will you flame/blast someone if you know him/her in person or CS because he/she "comment" others seller's item is selling in high price?

E.g :
couple days ago, a CSer organize a MO for a Pin hole body cap .....
another CSer came in and say the price is sky high, and u can even DIY the cap....

(aren't we encourage to PM rather than smashed ppls thread??)

i tried to locate the thread, but it was gone, who remove it?
moderator? seller?

well.... see this pity chap... kena flame like hxll......

http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=166492

but i see NO ONE flame that bro at that body cap MO ?? if i'm not wrong, the seller asking for SGD100 per pcs......

show mercy to someone u know but blast others like kena stab by him?
are you one of them ?

well..... u can flame me here if u want, but that's what i see. :):)

Why is it justifiable to comment on people's prices? It's a ****ing free market. If the buyer wants to sell his item at the price he wants, and he subsequently doesn't get any sale, that's his own problem.

I can't see why some feel justified that it's their right to comment on other people's asking price. If you look at the 5D thread, there are some who justify their self-appointment as price police by saying they are doing it for the 'greater good'. That's just rubbish. I am part of the greater rest and I think of these people as ****ing kaypohs. If they are curious as to why the asking price is such, if they want to help the seller understand that maybe the current new price is already lower or the same as his used one, why don't they just PM the seller? Barging in to the seller's thread by saying that their price is too high is just ****ing rude. If they are such sincerely helpful people, why not barge in when the price is too low and help ensure that the seller gets more money for his goods? That's also doing a good thing what. How come the altruism is so one-sided?

And lastly, they seem to think Singaporeans so stupid don't know how to go check up the price of a new one themselves..........:)

well, why PM?
just bcos thats the rule?
i live by the dictum, 'rules r meant to be broken'.

say u saw an ad that goes something like this,
"1DII with lots of freebies".
and the asking price is $12k plus,
and the FREEBIES include some 2nd hand lens and such,
would u keep mum?

well, i kept my peace for that instance,
cos the asking is so high that not everyone can afford,
and if u can,
then u can well afford that wonderful deal.

now if he is selling, say,
brush for sensor cleaning,
and its an ordinary paint brush,
but he call it SENSOR DUST REMOVER,
and ask $99 for a $10 brush,
would u keep mum?
i won't.

informing our selling bros that their asking is off the
reasonable market price without any ill intentions is wrong?

unless the seller has something to hide.

guess this started from dpreview,
its regarding some WONDERFUL brush that the manufacturer
claimed its for sensor cleaning.
some testing by the users,
and they concluded its the same type of brush used
by the painters(oil, water or what i can't remember).

the $99 is actually USD!
if not wrong,
saw the MO b4,
hpe i m wrong.

ps-thought i said my egs r for example only :bsmilie:

there was once i wanted to sell an item
but the last price that i knew was higher

a kind soul pmed me and informed me about this
after which i reduced the price and gave credit to the kind soul

just leave it be as if it is too expensive then no one will buy.

BTW I think that the seling price for 2nd hand stuff in the B&S treads are
still too high.

please answer the following questions:
- Did/Do/Will you refuse to serve NS? (only applicable if you are singaporean)
- Do you smoke in aircon bus?
- Do you throw your daily household litter from your apartment window instead of bin chute?
- Do you have sex with teenagers under 18?
- Do you pee inside any lift?
- Do you dare to show your middle finger to a police officer?
- Do you molest your neighbourhood girls?
- Do you dare to chew chewing gum and paste the leftover onto MRT's window?
- Do you dare vandalizing any building and write "Judeseah, IC no Sxxxxxxxx was here!" ?
- Do you press MRT's emergency button?
- Will you carry a big poster saying "Singapore government's suck!" with 20 of your friends and do a protest in front of parliament building?

If any of those answers are NO, please shut your mouth and stop boasting "i live by the dictum, 'rules r meant to be broken'"

Think you mean 16. Anything over 16 is fine in the S'pore context.

Actually if you are talking about statutory rape, its 14, not 16 or 18.
