Why no group photoshoots on fri night, sat night, sun night?

#1, must have Demand first than got supply

#2, photoshoot with lighting provided provided are lesser the photoshoots held outdoor using daylight.

so with less demand plus need provide lighting, spell high cost, who still want it?

XMMs need to go home, go partying....
:bsmilie:

people is looking for group photoshoots, aka Model Shoot,

not photo outing,
not macro shoot,
not "I shoot you and you shoot me" type of shoot

there is an outing by shootshootshoot this sat night i think, going to take fireworks and light painting.. u can have a look at the gathering and outings section:)

HO HO HO thanks for helping Shootshootshoot to publicize, jonathan.

actually i would beg to defer Why no group photoshoots on fri night, sat night, sun night, cause we always do our shoots till late at night :bsmilie:, of course proper equipment must be used, because our group is big and close enough thats why we are willing to share equipment to one another during the course of shooting.

wahahahaha catchlights, you trying to say you like to do model shoots ?

stevewhy's group are a group of macro enthusiast which always go for macro shoot almost every friday night at Lower Pierce Reservoir, can search for it under events and outing section.

as for photo outing then i think shootshootshoot gang will be a good example, we meet out every saturday to do shoots on different theme, we went OCH and changi broadwalk last saturday, Zoo last last saturday, Botanical Garden and Padang 3 weeks ago.

:)

i don't think catchlights said anything about liking model shots or not

he was just saying that the ts is asking about model group shots done by organisers, i.e. organiser puts up event in clubsnap, where people sign up to go as a group, though they might not know each other.

btw, i do not think shooting in a group is conducive, i do it now and then, everytime when i do it, i don't feel happy because:

1) if i want an angle and someone is there, i cannot say anything
2) if i want an angle but someone is in my frame, i cannot say anything
3) if i want an angle but someone wants to shoot another angle where i am in the frame, i also feel bad

which is why i will never understand group outings of more than 3 people, especially when it comes to landscapes. shoot cats, still not so bad. shoot landscapes, alone or max 3 (with different shooting style) is best.

and i will never understand why people are proud that they socialise during photography. i prefer to talk after shooting, and preferably not everything about shooting at that.

CS define PhotoShoots as paid model shoot.

AFAIK, some time bobman does organize photoshoot at weekday pr weekend evenings, I will not recommend a lady (TS) to attend bobman's photoshoot unless she say she is into it.

Thanks for correcting my mistake. On my personal basis, cause im still a noobie, so more often will be that i will need my experienced friend to guide me and the most unique characteristic about our group is that we talk more shoot less. :bsmilie:

30% of the time - taking photographs
70% of the time - talking, looking for chance to shoot

we couldnt be taking pictures every single momemnt therefore i think having a group is a enjoyable experience, though i very agree to what you have mentioned about angles and people/ friends blocking in the way. my 2 cents worth.

Lolol chill.
I don't know. But, GOAT, [:p] you might want to include this as your 4th point.
4) if i want an angle, and I GET THAT ANGLE, but someone/some many will shoot at the same angle where i am, you also feel bad, cos it will turn out to be the same thing lookalike/whatever

Okay la. Actually I also like to shoot alone, with 1 friend or even in a smaller group like 3-4 people? Personal preference. Most importantly, enjoy shooting! :sweatsm:
