hi, mi newbie lah
want to ask how come my digicma the picture look so bright but when d/l on pc monitor look so dark? is it someting wrong wif my cam or my comp? i just got a nikon 995. :(
thx in adv...

Nothing wrong. This is the way it behaves. Camera LCDs are typically too bright. And most people's PC monitors are typically too dark/bright (i.e. not calibrated).

So, calibrate your monitor (at least using Adobe Gamma), then ensure your exposure is indeed correct. Lowering camera LCD brightness can help a bit.

Set to 2.2. Follow the steps in the Adobe Gamma wizard.

Is the Adobe Gamma wizard a software that I need to purchase?
Or is it a feature in Adobe PS?

Thanks!

Check if you can adjust your LCD brightness in your camera. If can, then adjust accordingly to get a closer brightness level to match your monitor.
