Why is the S2 pro cheaper than d100 in SGD... but otherwise elsewhere ?

Cathay quoted S2 Pro - $2.58K , d100- $2.65K.
bhphoto s2 Pro - 1.9K USD, d100 - 1,6k USD.

This is the case in many places too, like here in Australia.

If SG, the s2 pro cheaper... then isnt the choice between the s2 pro and d100 becomes much easier ? funny how things are. SHould pounce on the chance for arbitrage man...keke.

I think the only stopping factor for most ppl is the warranty issue.

But again, there are some places in US that sells cheaper than B&H and such, and the trouble/hassle of coming to SG to buy the camera might outweigh the price difference too.

Do remember, it's an efficient though not perfect market.

the local S2 comes with the LE (limited) software, unlike the US with the EX...Prob that is why.
