tell us why you would even say female user is more desirable than male in cs?

there is a cs market for female user and male users?

Yeah. I thought there was only Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax (groan), Oly (why still no 4/3 section for BnS )...

However if there were one, I think I will buy female user also because I don't like goats.

Male sweats more profusely. The secretion tends to corrode the coating of the camera bodies and devalue them.

And also the pheromone residues left by male users on the equipments can heighten undesirable feelings if handled by female buyers. Hence female buyers normally avoid such products unless they are irresistibly cheap.

Some male users are known not to wash their hands after going to the toilet before handling their cameras and lenses.

Now i know whey so many male members are always asking Jeanie to sell her gears .... :dunno:

most girls i saw, don't take care of their equipment well...

for guys, some take care some don't...

just personal opinion.

no idea, i haven't even met a female seller for second hand equipment before.

besides, even if the profile says female or male i won't give it a second thought.

you met a chio bu seller and keep thinking of her isit... :bsmilie:

I met a chiobu buyer once but her equipment puts me to shame. She looked so tiny yet had all the big gear :p

some time ago,
I bought a pair of studio lights from a female member,
wanted to do a test at her place,
she show reluctant, claim don't know how to use,
cause the power cord is Aussie type,
But I insist on test the light by using a computer power cord or kettle power cord.
(me smart right? know how to improvise...)
she oblige, so we test the light in her kitchen,
one light emit smoke after switching on for less than 30sec,

KNS......

she said I spoiled the light, cause the light is OK before switch on!
and I'm the one switch it on,
(speechless..............)
now L L have to buy the lights,
so I make an offer to take one damaged light,
and one unknown condition light,
plus rotten umbrella, incomplete "softbox"?
one rusty light stand
and a carrying case with sponge form have already rot away.

when bring the set back to studio,
test the other unknown condition light,
it also emit smoke shortly,

@#$%.....

bo pian, bring these two lights to Cathy,
Steve Ah Ju face turn black immediately,
once he saw me walk in with two lights,
"kosi si mi pia?" he said (what thing spoils again?)
show him the two lights,
"Ok lar, will call you for the quote" after he accepted the lights.

He call me a week later told me the estimate cost is $90.00 and $130.00.
"Ok lar, go ahead, call me once ready" I replied.

So I go collect the lights from Cathy few days later,
"Ah Ben har, your this two light dig out from where one har?"

"Why leh? Buy second hand from CS."

"Aiyoh, this one is antique you know or not? I tot is your Ah Gong pass it down to you."

"Bo lar, I know is old model, but we have same model in the studio, still working very well you know?"

"Ya....... but my technician told me your these two lights has not been use for more than 10 years, that why got smoke come out once turn it on."

"wah lau eh............."

With this story, you are now my new idol instead of Unker Sion already.

We should have compilations of best stories.

Whenever I see a Buy and Sell thread from a female photog. I always ask them to upload photo before i decide.

Not of their camera gear, but themselves.

Seriously though, i think its nonsense to attach any significance to the difference between a female or male user selling camera.
