Why do moulds grow on everything, even glass?

Saw this article in The Straits Times (2/10/04), Tech & Science section page H18. Only now then I know why do fungi grow on our lens. :what:

Now that all my equipment are in 2 electric dehumidifiers, the fungus has decided to attack my Domke F2 every now and then instead.

well...in my proj. i have encountered many fungal contaminations of my stuff (not cams but research work at sch) and i have to clean up most of the time...
so i understand how u feel...

Moral of the story, everything also must use once every now and then.....

yap even for winter clothing (we dun wear them in spore) must stuff with thirsty hippo to reduce risk of fungus grow...
