Why are the models always ladies?

I've noticed that all the model shoots listed are with female models only. Why are there no shoots with male models? I'm sure that if there are female members of this forum out there, they would like to have a hunk as a model from time to time.

And all the models tend to look somewhat the same, ie very Chinese/Asian look and school girl type. How come no ethnic type models? And more mature looking ones?

I'm wondering if these shoots are really for practise or more for the guys to oogle at a 'pretty' girl.

guess it's a supply and demand thing. if there's demand, someone will organise. if there's supply, someone will organise and check for interest.

also, oogling at pretty girls or handsome guys take place all the time, not just at photoshoots ;p

Well if that's the case then why not engage beautiful women instead of pretty girls?

Being a female myself, I would rather work with a beautiful and mature woman than a sweet pretty girl.

most of the people that go for the "photo shoots" are just fags who dont have the guts to go meet girls and just want to relish the time spent with one beautiful "model"......

pls dont think im discounting everyone here that posts pics.....a couple of u guys are really good......artistic and tasteful..........

i feel so sorry for the guys who take up photography just to take pretty girl shots........ur no different from a male gyne who cant afford an internet connection to surf porn...and there are those who arrange photo shoots just to earn a quick buck ....just coz he knows a girl that looks good.........

As for oogling...there is no time becos the photog has to frame and compose the pic...

A: Fags = Faggots = goes only for guys
B: There are even female photographers going for shots.
C: There are nothing wrong with taking photograph of things that are beautiful.
D: You are what you think, if you go to photoshoots for the intention of taking photographs, and improving of skill, there is nothing wrong with that. If you go to photoshoots for the intention of a company of the girl, that is just too bad.

I have joined such photo shots before (not with this group) and I've been a model myself when there was a lack.

You don't have to be staring to be considered as oogling. What I mean is most of the guys on such shoots oogle through their lens. Capturing only pretty smiles but not much in way of substance.

I won't mind coming along on a shoot someday if the model is worth my time and money.
