i will go after 2 years.. the crowd volume ytd at the casino is crazy
. but no Q for singaporean as for foreigner there is a long Q as they need do back check..
FYI the casino is at basement level . Dont follow the crowd and go up 1st level to go to the casino because you will walk one big round and go back down again.

My fond memories of several visits to Casino on board Cruises (where we were served by very polite and jovial Coupiers)
and at Genting (generally more sully-faced ones) have been wonderful.
Not in winning heaps of money, but the closeness, the excitement, and the bonding between my parents, myself and my wife.
We would just sit around the Roulette the whole evening and cheer ourselves silly, and chat happily with the coupier, win or lose.
I think that is the spirit of enjoyment for us. It is not all about winning money.
Just to clarify - we are not impulsive gamblers, and we don't gamble heaps of money on the table. We have our cut-loss procedures too.
All four of us are just there to enjoy a nice evening of leisure.
As usual these are my own personal point of view (from which I am sure there are plenty who may not agree fully).

Casino is no good. please dont go. It is a place to eat the tigers of asia. we go in with a few chips cant even make a sardine lunch for them. the want high rollers, big tigers.

Just went to RWS(not the casino though) yesterday.
No offense to anyone, but it felt like I had just stepped into Malaysia. Everything looked Malaysia-theme-parked-ish.
Prices of snacks were exhorbitant. $4.30 for a hotdog bun and $6.20 for a pack of Ruffles.
IMO, boring place to go to if you gambling or theme parks aren't your thing. Everyone there just looked sad and bored. :bsmilie:

Hahaha ..... I know what you mean.
I am not really the gambling sort and have only played in casinos 3 times in my life; once each in Genting, Phomn Penh and Macau. The rest of the visits to casinos in Loondon and Australia were just to go in and "look-see".
Its really exciting once you get into it but as long as you are very clear what you are after and can exercise discipline and be responsible, it can be dangerous. Like you, I consider gaming a form of entertainment and am prepared to walk away after exhausting what I have budgeted for the few hours of excitement and entertainment.
Some people go there with the express objective of winning ..... that's the beginning of a slippery slope I think, cos' you will want to "top up" to stay in the game in the hopes of winning it all back. One should look at it as a form of entertainment and are prepared to walk away after getting their share of the excitement and comaderie.
IMHO, like any fun and entertainment e.g. PC gaming, drinking, etc, once you over-indulge, it becomes a problem. Like all enjoyable things in life, exercise moderation and be responsible and disciplined.
You know yourself best ..... have fun but stay safe, be matured and keep it healthy.
