I need to work till 6.15-6.30pm.

Think by the time I reach there, will be too late.

And you got to buy rose and stick at your pocket for recognition leh. :bsmilie:
Haha, I deleted the post as I was afraid some moderators will take the sarcasm too literally.

I would barricade the location and surround it multiple strobe lights along with a red carpet leading into it for recognition purposes. :bsmilie:

Where can I transfer the payment to?

I need 2x 1 square meter spots, one next to the Merlion, and one on top of the Fullerton Hotel........

I have set up a few bogus tents at the Promontory with mp3 players playing random speeches and crash dummies inside tonight.
Hope the police don't remove them by tomorrow or book them for unlawful occupation.

Are you sure you and your equipments can fit into an area of 1 square metre? ;p

Make sure you secure your dummies tightly otherwise their silhouette will look extremely obscene from the outside if they are to fall on top one another. :bsmilie:

Oh s**t, I thought that was the proper position to place them so that the police will not bother them with their duty to their country (making babies).
I even include a vibrator (spinning type) in one of the dummies. :(

Never mind, I have also packed around 10 pound of t*t inside each dummy.
Should they try to remove them ,the mercury switch will trigger the det***tor.
Then we should have a new scenery tomorrow morning. ;)

Btw, 10 pound of t*t doesn't do a lot of damage if it is homemade. :thumbsd:

no one willing to help?
Sorry pal, it's not a matter of not no one is willing to help but a matter of is it possible to help book the slot.
Today's turnout is going to be way bigger than NDP since the FT are given a day off, too bad for the police.
No one is confident of helping you to get a slot as a lot of people will be squeezed into every little space available and any place that doesn't have a tripod is a place to squeeze into.
I have told my friend to go into Plan B (abandon me and meetup after the fireworks for night shoot) if he is unable to secure a slot for me. :sticktong

So my apologies on behalf of everyone who joke around in the thread but unable to give you the answer that you seek.

PS: Get a tall tripod and a stool.

That the sad thing, all my site workers are half day, but been in office is full day. Very sickening.

Even all my girl friends abandon me, going overseas. ):

loneWolff is right. shooting fireworks in a public area? no one will be able to reserve a spot for you as it'll be packed to the max tonight.

looking at it in a practical sense, it's already difficult to find a spot, and it'll be even more so having to guard a second spot for someone else.

unless you find a good samaritan who's willing to bear scoldings of being selfish by other shooters/spectators, i think you should just bring your gear down and look for your own spot after work no matter what time it is.

anyways, who knows, u might just find a better spot than all those people grouping together to shoot :p. it doesn't mean that a group of people shooting there have a good spot. it just means that there's a group of people shooting there together. the only difference is that there'll be people to help you with your settings.
