White-rumped Shama can sing very well and this is one of the reasons people like to keep as pet and train them in singing to take part in competition. I heard that a good singer can fetch very high price.
These are the same bird but shot during different days. Not that easy to shoot considering the bird was pretty active and lighting wasn't very good. As the name mentioned,so I tried to get some decent shots showing its white rump
1). No white rump
2). Abit of white rump
3). The rump looks good...but i wished the tail was up for this shot
