I'm looking for a mid-range - pro filter for 135mm f2L. I heard about Kenko Pro 1 and Hoya. Please recommend. Price <$70

Thanks

Use the hood, not UV filter for protection.

is B+W filter the best filter compared to other brand?
Best in which way? Please define the criteria, otherwise no point using a term that describes a comparison.
Something to read: http://www.lenstip.com/113.1-article-UV_filters_test.html
Have a look at OP, they also have some filters further up the price scale, usually not listed in consumer reviews. Brand is Rodenstock.
