which two lenses down the beck?

If you had two cameras hanging down your neck for general shooting outdoors, which two lenses would you put on them?

my usual two-body setup:

- 5D Mk1(hoping to replace this with Mk2) + 17-40L (Hoping to replace with 16-35L Mk1) on left shoulder
- 40D + 135L on right shoulder

It really depends on your style of shooting though.

The 16-35VR & 50 1.4. Good enough for what i usually shoot plus most importantly, it won't break my neck if i have to sling 2 D300s .

I'd probably have something like a 16-35 f/2.8L and a 70-200 f/2.8L IS II, both on 5DmkIIs. But in real life, i would never do something like that even if i could afford it and was willing to carry both

More realistically something like a 24-105 f/4.0L or 24-70 f/2.8 on a 5DmkII. Maybe my 70-300 f/4.0-5.6 IS USM in my bag only if i was absolutely sure i was going to use it. I prefer to keep the weight down and am not a real telephoto kind of a person

i would have a

D3-24-70
D300s 70-200vr

tried before the above for a whole day, except with a 80-200 than the 70-200, got numb shoulder after that...;p

a wide zoom + a medium long prime. depending on you brand and sensor size.
on a ff sensor, 16~36 or 14~24 is nice considering singapore's NARROW walkways.
prime of around 135mm is nice too.

Would definately medium zoom like 24-70mm and one long telephoto start from 135mm onwards

An fast WA prime and a Telezoom.. In Nikon terms is 24/28 f1.4 & 70-200 VR2 f2.8 Both on FF..
