Which one to go for?

hi all,

i'm facing this dilema of choosing between Casio Z500 and Panasonic FX8
both sides got their supporters thus making me so confused

one thing tt troubles me most is the fact that casio uses DSP. I suppose tt is some form of digital manipulations tt sharpen the pics rather than havin a sensor like in Mega OIS.
are all these juz another marketing gimmick or they really work?
If they work, DSP or megaOIS more superior?

can someone shed some light on this?

i would go for FX8. or if u don mind the shorter batt life, go find a FX7 whihc uses the more advanced Venus II engine. i somehow dont like casio

FX7 gt quite some prob over FX8. (e.g. no latch for batt, no speakers)
think most likely i'll settle for Z500.
