Lens or Camera Body?

Lens. Bodies are the upgradeable bits. A good lens will last you decades.

FYI, this is a donkey-age-old topic. Just do a search for "Lens or body" and you'll see many similar threads.

Both. One is useless without the other.

Btw shouldn't this be in KPT?

none, as all these are attainable by money.

those things which money can't buy is more valuable.

So true, but then those will be "invaluable".:D

What's the point here? How will the poll result bear any meaning, message or inspiration to you? Unsure which part of your equipment to put on a silk pillow into a shrine? :bsmilie:

I also value :

1) Size of XMM eye
2) Length of XMM eyelashes
3) How many people will nosebleed over my photos

Now these, probably can use money to buy.. :)

should have options of both and none.
:bsmilie:

If it is a 350D with a 400mm f2.8 IS II, then the lens
If is a 1DSMk3 and a 50mm f1.8 then it is the camera body

Lens for me, cause 2 yrs back it was easily my camera body but it depreciated so much until my lens value caught up from behind

Well neither really. What's the point in putting value into the tools? Its the experience and memories that matter. No ?;)

Both are equally important... Really depends what u are using it for, I guess.

To me, having a ff sensor is important since I am a pixel peeper. I do value my primes as also.w

agree with catchlight :)

but if i were to choose one, i believe it's the lens that "make" the camera, though i believe both factors, including skill and environment make up the 4 factors that constitute a good picture.
