I get most of my cds from hmv's dance section too......:gbounce:

They have pretty cool collection too....

cheap cd's, even new releases, can be found at foo leong at chinatown, and this shop beside giordano at yangtze cinema nx to outram mrt ;)

Gramaphone...........Staff who know their jazz and give good recommendations :)

Hi Wolfgang, i think Music Warehouse is now Gramaphone?? :dunno: (Anyone correct me if wrong:embrass: )
Anyway, if u're referring to the one right outside City Hall MRT, i agree wif u. Price's not bad. Wat i like is the wide collection of other music catergories they have there(World, Jazz..)
Personally, i still go down to Tower Records & HMV to check-out new arrivals and some 'Imported' titles which is not available in other shops. If i can't buy it else where, i can alway RIP RIP RIP from Internet:D

Gramaphone is at Raffles MRT Station and Specialist Centre. But nowadays i download whatever i can.....heehee

you know who is extreme ? you know who is nuno bettencourt? after the band split, he formed Mourning Widows. That's the album I am looking for.

Usually those hard to find cds, I've got no choice but to import from cdnow.com or eil.com . It is expensive but you get what u wanna..

Have u tried to ask HMV (Heeren) to bring in the cd? Last time they do... not sure abt now..

Just a side question, anyone knows who sang 'Yo Te Amor'? There's a Mandarin ripoff version ... someone told me it's related to Meteor Garden..... hmmm......

I give my vote to gramaphone...I think this is one of the few shops where the staff actually knows about music. I would also rate their prices as some of the most competitive here in Singapore.

Yes.. I agree on the above points. in fact I try to supoort Gramaphone... and I like it cos 90% of te time I walk in they are playing some music that I like!
