take a look .... i gt the wireless BT apple mice no lag , but not very precise . Brought 3rd party mice and found that it looks ugly with the iBook so ended up give up using back the track pad ;p

for photoshop, i would like the old razor boomslang ballmouse. but it's totally not available now so i'm depending on my stock of old logitec wired ball mouse. i still dont trust optical and wireless. ball mice has a certian 'weight' and 'feedback' to it that gives me better control when doing retouching. on the other hand, ball mice needs constant cleaning so... hehx.

I have to advise you..better stay with Apple mouse... my office G5 ...always hang..with logitech mouse...i could not find out the problem..even apple support come down many times..and also send G5 back..also could not find the problem..

a few months.later..i decide ..use back ..white color original mouse..then stable..more then 5 months...

how's the lag like? I'm interested to know the work you do that needs such quick respond times. I can only think of a professional gamer that needs quick respond from the mouse.

the lag is quite bad as i edit audio waveforms.

I recommend Microsoft notebook optical mouse.... small, handy, light and accurate. Don't buy the wireless mouse, troublesome all the time.

By the way for notebook PC use I would recommend the following:

1. Logitech V500. Very cool design. The receiver can be totally hidden inside the moise when not in use and the capacitive touch pad for 4-way scrolling is kind of cool also.

2. Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse. This is the older model that came out about a year ago. I got one since it first came out and still using the same battery. Microsoft has their own optical tracking ASIC and their mouse products have incredible battery life.

3. Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 4000. This is their latest model.
