Say if I do not wish to change lens on the go and have decided to bring 2 bodies, what combo will you prefer from the list below?
Trip will be to Europe with family.

Bodies :
D7000
D50

Lens :
Tokina 11-16
Sigma 17-50
Nikon 18-200

Am thinking of D7k with the Sigma and D50 with the Tokina?
All feedback appreciated!

Just bring the D7k is enough. I'll probably bring the Tokina and the Nikon for the reach. If not you can bring all 3 considering them to be pretty light.

personally, 1 body + 1 lens , at most 2 lenses would be the best.. from my experience of travelling n shooting.. i dont really use more than 1-2 lenses.. even 1 most of the time...

d7000 + tokina /sigma for the rest + 18-200 (daytime for reach)

but i dont think u need 18-200 also since 17-50 will probably cover most of it.. just my 2 cents..

not sure about you, but i find that when i go on holidays, i either use my UWA or telezoom.

from my last trip to thailand, out of the 500+ photos i took, only 30 was taken with my 17-55.

if i were to pick, i will take the D7000 + 11-16 + 17-50. that said, i will still lug the 18-200 along cause' you never know when you will need the 200mm.

so, bring all three lenses and leave the D50 at home!
