Which is the one nikon lens you can't do wtihout for FX

ON Holiday Duty, bored, not much trades flowing in..Sitting at my desk juggling my work and surfing CS...then..it just suddently occured to me that what is the one damn gd lens if you die die have to choose for FX (D700/D3/D3s/D3x)..

Hence started this thread for survey. Merely to cure my curiousity~

Come on FX users! share with us which is that one lens u can't do without!

For me, It will be tossed up between AF-S 17-35mm f/2.8D and AF 85mm f/1.4D...

Edit: 17-35mm is the one i will choose.

The DC lens not that practical for the rubbish I've been shooting (at home) lah. Haha.

My Vivitar 135mm f/2.8 actually sees more action than the DC lens cos it can focus really close. :think:
