Actually if you want to get a full-framer (5DMII) then you'd have to be prepared for higher costs when you buy lenses. Lens for full-frame DSLRs tend to be more expensive, compared to those for crop-frame DSLRs. But note that all full-frame lenses work on crop-frame DSLRs, but non-full-frame lenses DO NOT WORK on full-frame DSLRs!

A bit too generic and imprecise. The 50mm f/1.8 is an FF lens but it's the cheapest in the lens line-up of Canon, costs even less than the kit lens when purchased separately. Also, there are more FF lenses, simply because of compatibility with film cameras and origin of the EF lens mount. Even on crop body, sooner or later one has to get the FF lenses, e.g. when using prime lenses.Actually if you want to get a full-framer (5DMII) then you'd have to be prepared for higher costs when you buy lenses. It is for the sake of unsuspecting newbies reading in silence that we need to correct any mistakes and misconceptions quickly. Or else more convinced misinformed individuals like himself will show up.

before u mislead people here, better explain in term of EF & EF-S or FX & DX lens(if u know what u're talking about) rather than "full frame & non full frame lens" which is very vague, and for the "more expensive" stuff i think u're refering to the L lens
Portraits can be shot with any camera. Can you tell which one is shot by what kind of camera and lens? I will give you a prize if you can answer correctly.
